Dinubilo - Drew Wedding Sunday
At 1 o'clock Sunday afternoon, May 5, Miss Dorothy Drew became the bride of Anthony Dinubilo. Father Walsh officiatee in the St. Mary's Church in the presence of a large gathering of friends and relatives.
Miss Lois Drew attended her sister and John Dinubilo was best man for his brother. The bride was given in marriage by her uncle, C. S. Danner, and the ushers were Messrs. Neil Guyman and Tony Cadematori.
The bridal gown was of white satin and the tulls veil was caught to the head by a lace cap. Across the back was a spray of orange blossoms. She carried lilles of the valley, gardenias and orchids in shower arrangements.
Miss Lois Drew was frocked in georgette of jadette hue. She wore a matching horsehair hat and carried pink rosebuds.
The church was decorated with a profusion of white carnations, peonies, potted plants, white roses and gladioil.
Following the ceremony a wedding breakfast was served at the Philomathean Clubhouse to some 125 guests. A reception was held at 4 o'clock and in the evening, Mr. and Mrs. Dinubilo left for a honeymoon trip which is to take them to New York. They will return via the Panama Canal.
The bride's table was centered with a minature fountain banked with gardenias and the other tables had centerpieces of roses and iris.
Preceding the ceremony, Victor Orr sang "Oh Promise Me," followed by the weddeing march from "Lohengrin" played on the organ. "I Love You Truly" was played softly during the ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Mrs. D. E. Drew of this city and the groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. D. Dinubilo. Upon their return they will occupy their own home in Beverly Place, Tuxedo Park. | Family: F201
