From a note in Bruce Bishop's Booklet 'the Lands and People of Moray' - Part 16 record the fact Catherine Logie and James Scott engaged in antenuptial fornication in 1845. This almost certainly refers to this child who was born some 5 weeks after the marriage of her parents.

Headstone Inscription
Sacred to the memory of Catherine Logie beloved wife of James Scott H. M. Customs (retired) died at Port Gordon 15th December 1892 aged 72 years and their daughter Helen died 19 Dec 1897 aged 51 years, the above James Scott died at Forchabers 11 Jan 1906 aged 83 years.
