Funeral services for Mildred Bear Drew, 59, of 1083 E. 400 S., Provo, who died of a sudden heart attack Wednesday, Jan. 10, 1979, will be Saturday at 11 a.m. in Berg Drawing Room Chapel, Provo.
Mildred was born Sept. 6, 1919 in Wilmington, N.C., a daughter of J. Irving and Mildred Whitehill Bear. She married Robert H. Drew on May 17, 1942 in San Rafael, Calif.
Mildred received her education in Richmond, Va., and then attended junior college in San Francisco. She married Robert H. Drew while he was in the military service. They moved to Provo more than 30 years ago.
Mildred was past matron of Valley Chapter, Order of the Eastern Star; member of Iris Court No. 47, Ladies Oriental Shrine, and past queen of Lybia Temple No. 32, Daughters of the Nile.
Survivors include her husband; one son and one daughter, Jay Harrison Drew, Livermore Calif.; Rhoda (Keith) Stoltenberg, San Jose, Calif., and two grandchildren.
Friends may call at the mortuary tonight from 6 to 8 o'clock or Saturday one hour prior to services. Burial will be in the Provo City Cemetery.
The family suggest contributions to the Convalescent Endowment Fund, Lybia Temple 32, Daughters of the Nile, 650 S. Temple, Salt Lake City 84102, or to the Shriner's Hospital for Crippled Children, Virginia and Fairfax Street, Salt Lake City.
