Benjamin Mulford to Joseph Edwards
This Indenture made this Eleventh day of
January in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and six. Between
Benjamin Mulford of the County of Warren, and State of Ohio of the first part,
and Joseph Edwards of the same State and County of Hamilton of the other part.
Witnesseth, that the said Benjamin Mulford for and in consideration of the sum
of sixty dollars paid to him before the ensealing and delivery of these
presents, the receipt of which he does hereby acknowledge and thereof and
therefrom fully discharge, the said Joseph Edwards his heirs, executors
administrators and assigns forever, Have granted, bargained and sold, and does
by these presents, fully clearly and absolutely grant bargain, sell, convey and
-confirm unto the said Joseph Edwards his heirs and assigns forever. A Certain
parcel or tract of land being a part of Section number thirty two, the fourth
township and second Fractional Range of Townships, the first corner being one
hundred and thirty poles South of the North East corner of said Section,
running thence West twenty two poles fifteen links, thence South seventy one
poles, thence East twenty two poles fifteen links, thence North seventy one
poles to the beginning corner. Containing ten acres strict measure. To have and
to hold said premises for the only proper use benefit and behoof of the said
Joseph Edwards his heirs executors, administrators and assigns forever, with
all and singular the appurtenances thereunto belonging, and the said Benjamin
Mulford for himself his heirs, executors, administrators and assigns does
further covenant and agree with the said Joseph Edwards his heirs and assigns,
that he is lawfully and properly seized of said land and has full authority in
his own right to sell the same in manner aforesaid and the said Benjamin
Mulford does further for himself his Heirs and assigns agree to warrant and
defend said premises to the said Joseph Edwards his Heirs, executors,
administrators and assigns against all claims whatsoever. In witness whereof I
the said Benjamin Mulford have hereunto set my hand and affixed my seal the day
and date above written.

Personally appeared before me James Lyon one
of the Justices assigned to keep the peace in the Township of Cincinnati, and
County of Hamilton, the within named Benjamin Mulford, and acknowledged the
within Instrument to be his hand and seal act and deed for the uses and
purposes within mentioned, done and acknowledged this 11th day of
January 1806, as witness my hand and seal.
