This Indenture, made this thirtieth day of
December in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and seven between
Joseph Crosley of the County of Hamilton and State of Ohio of the one part
& Joseph Mulford of the County & State aforesaid of the other part.
Witnesseth that the said Joseph Crosley for & in consideration of the sum
of two hundred & seventy five dollars to him in hand well & truly paid
by the said Joseph Mulford, the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged hath
granted, bargained, sold conveyed & confirmed & by these presents doth
grant bargain sell convey & confirm unto the said Joseph Mulford & to
his heirs and assigns forever All that certain tract of land situate lying
& being in Section number thirty two in the fourth Township & second
fractional Range of townships in the Miami purchase, the lines running as
follows--Beginning at Joseph Conklins South East corner thence running East one
hundred & ten poles & ninety six links, thence North seventy one poles,
thence West one hundred & nine poles & ten links thence North thirty
one poles, thence West one pole eighty six links, thence Soutn one hundred
& two poles, to the beginning corner--containing fifty acres more or less.
To have & to hold the said described tract of land hereby bargained &
sold or meant to `or intended so to be with the apurtenances to the only proper
use benefit & behoof of the said Joseph Mulford & his heirs and assigns
forever. And the said Joseph Crosley for himself & his heirs executors
& administrators doth covenant grant & agree to & with the said
Joseph Mulford & to his heirs executors administrators & assigns that
his is the true & lawful owner of the premises hereby granated & hath
good right full power & lawful authority to sell & convey the same in
manner & form aforesaid. And further, that he the said Joseph Crosley &
his heirs, executors, and administrators, will warrant & forever defend the
aforesaid premises with their appurtenannces & every part & parcel
thereof unto the said Joseph Mulford & to his heirs and assigns against all
persons claiming or to claim by from or under him these or any of these or by
from or under any other person or persons whomsoever. In witness whereof the
said Joseph Crosley & Mary his wife who hereby relinquishes her right of
dower in the premises hath hereunto set their hands & seals the day &
year first above written.

Personally appeared before me, one of the
justices assigned to keep the peace in the County of Hamilton, the within named
Joseph Crosley & Mary his wife who being seperately examined as the law
directs & acknowledged the within Instrument to be their hands & seals
act & deed for the use & purpose within mentioned. Done &
acknowledged this 31st day of Dec A.D. 1807 as witness my hand and
seal.
