Aug 17, 1892 The Conservative, Wednesday, Brandon"Died, on last Thursday, Aug 9, little Mattie, the only daughter of Irvin and Zella Gallaher. Mattie was born Nov. 20, 1888, and hence was 3 years, 8 months, and 19 days old. Her sickness of only a few days was brain and spinal trouble. Many friends extend the sympathy to the sorrowing parents."
Aug 25, 1902, Bulletin-Journal, Brandon news:"The little four year old daughter of Irvin Gallaher while playing on the yard gate fell to the ground, striking her head which resulted in her death a few days later, suffering the most excruciating pain."
