Our beloved Joyce passed away peacefully from this life to the next Thursday, February 20, 2003, surrounded by her loved ones.
Joyce was born July 15, 1929 in Salt Lake City, UT to Lorin Lafayette and Ruby Dansie Farnsworth. On Dec 5, 1947, she married Myron Gerald Kiddle in Salt Lake City,
UT. They were later sealed for all eternity in the Salt Lake LDS Temple.
Her first love was her family. She dedicated her entire life to helping all of them. She absolutely loved her grandkids and made them feel special by making each a blanket and pair of knitted booties. She loved to have family over for dinner and a "quick" card game or two.
In her younger years she was quite active and loved to bowl in the leagues with Myron. She also enjoyed the time spent with her three girls working in the Girl Scout Program. Joyce loved family trips and had the privilege of visiting Hawaii, Canada and Nauvoo. She also loved to visit the temples. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her! She is survived by her husband of 55 years, Myron; three daughters, Janet (Roy) Holman, Marilyn (Jim) Bentley, and Carolyn (Wendall) Turner; one son, Corey (Rosalie) Kiddle; sisters-in-law, Lois (Ken) Young, Mildred Kiddle; brother-in-law, William F. Handley; she also enjoyed 10 grandchildren; and four great-grand-kids. She was preceded in death by her parents.
Services will be Tues. Feb 25, 2003 noon. Rosecrest LDS 1st Ward Chapel, 3101 S. 2300 E. Friends may call Mon. 6-8 p.m. Holbrook Mortuary, 3251 S. 2300 E, and at the church Tues. one hour prior to the ser-vices. Interment: Elysian Burial Gardens. Directors, Holbrook Mortuary.
