Aleta Drew Nostoja

Annie Aleta Huggard Drew Nostoja, 86, died Jan. 27, 1996 in the Orchard Park Care Center in Orem of causes incident to age.
She was born Nov. 7, 1909 in Lehi to Franklin and Ethel Ashton Huggard. When Aleta was two the family moved to American Fork and she attended school there.
She married Elwood Drew, Jun 20, 1928 in Salt Lake City. They were sealed in the Manti LDS Temple on Dec. 7, 1963. Elwood died Feb. 1, 1970.
Aleta married Reed Lance on Dec., 11, 1970 in Provo. He died in 1986. She married Wayne Nostoja in April 1988 in American Fork.
She was actively involved in the LDS Church all of her life, serving as a Primary president, Relief Society president and numerous other callings and responsibilities.
She graduated from American Fork High School. She enjoyed camping, genealogical research, ceramics and temple ordinance work, her children and grandchildren.
She enjoyed people and keeping up with her home duties. She was always there for family and friends. She will be greatly missed and was dearly loved by all who knew her.
She is survived by her husband, Wayne Nostoja, Orem; children: Robert Drew, Lehi; LaMar (LaRene) Drew, Dorothy (Roy) Loveridge, Alpine; Stanley (Ava Dean) Drew, Pocatello, Idaho; Lee (Connie) Drew, Lindon. 23 grandchildren, 34 great-grandchildren; numerous step-grandchildren and great grandchildren.
She was the oldest of nine children. She has three brothers and one sister: Mable Binns, Ogden; Frank (Dorothy) Huggard, Lehi; Blanche Ovard, Murray; Jim (Norma Jean) Huggard, American Fork; Max (Rae) Huggard, Provo; sisters-in-law, Afton Huggard, Lindon; Betty Drew; Orem; seven step-children: Betty Hansen and Robert Nostoja, Cokeville, Wyoming. Reed B. Lance, Monticello; Lorna Lindsey, Boulder, Colo.; Marlin Lance, Virginia; Carma Barlow, Taylorsville. She was preceded in death by two grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, Jan. 31, at 11 a.m. in the Timpanogos Park 3rd Ward, 1000 North Main, Orem. Friends may call one hour prior to services at the church.
Interment will take place at the Alpine City Cemetery following the services.
