Obituary of Jean Stevens
Jean Stevens, age 92, passed away Dec. 30, 2004. She was born May 24, 1912 in Alpine, Utah to Mark and Gertrude Bennett. She married Willis Stevens Dec. 15, 1931. They were married for 72 years. They were ranchers on Hill Creek until the late 1930s when they moved to Willow Creek. Jean loved to spend time with her friends and family. She enjoyed gardening. She always had a beautiful rose garden.
She is survived by Blaine (Donna) Stevens of Moab, Jim (Kit) Stevens of Fillmore, and Sharon Stevens of Vernal. She had seven grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband, Willis, along with her parents, and siblings.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, Jan. 6, 2005 at 11:00 a.m. at the Thomson-Blackburn Vernal Mortuary. Burial will be located in the Vernal Memorial Park under the direction of Thomson-Blackburn Vernal Mortuary.
