EHH - Capt. of the 12th Co in Col Smith's Suffolk Co. Regiment in the Revolution and was in the Battle of Long Island.
Capt. Ezekiel was complimented directly by Gen. Washington for a daring exploit; was a fine horseman, and at the age of 85 took pleasure in breaking and subduing a vicious horse. He read his Bible and offered family prayers until the day of his death at the age of 94.
Captain during the Revolutionary War and commanded a company of Minutemen. He was also commended for bravery.
