Born to Dewey Lucky and Nina Ella Bennett Underwood, January 29, 1900, in Mercur, Utah. Married Lottie M. Erickson, September 14, 1929. Solemnized 1979 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. Retired machine operator at American Linen Supply of Salt Lake City, where he worked for 44 years. Member, Salt Lake Valley Ward for the Deaf, the National Association of the deaf, and was associated with the multi-purpose center in Salt Lake City.
Survivors; his wife; one son, Joe D. Underwood, Salt Lake City; Eight grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; one sister, Erma U. Hatton, Salt Lake City.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, 12 noon, at the Salt Lake Valley Ward for the deaf, 760 East 700 South. Friends may call Monday evening 7-8 p.m., at the Larkin Mortuary, 260 East South Temple, and at the ward, one half hour prior to services. Burial will be at Mt. Olivet Cemetary.
