John Legg Mulford
John L. Mulford was reared at Cold Springs, Indiana, and was a farmer and stockman. Although his home farm comprised fifty-eight acres of land in Sparta township, he owned at the time of his death, in 1895, when he was sixty-five years old, some two hundred acres of farm land in different parts of the county. He and his wife were the parents of three children: Morton C., of Moores Hill; Laura A., the widow of Henry Holtegal, of Louisville, Kentucky, and Emma E., the wife of David B. Stafford, of Louisville, Kentucky. The mother of these children died in 1913, at the age of seventy-seven years. Both she and her husband were members of the Presbyterian church and charter members of the congregation at Cold Springs, Indiana. 3

(Mary Jane Chance was born in 1835 in , , Indiana 9 and died in 1913 in Cold Springs, Dearborn, Indiana.) |
