Bertha Bennett

  General Notes:

On page 480 of the "East Hampton History", Jonathan 6, married a "Bethia" Bennett. When I checked the Bennett Family I found a "Bertha" Bennett on page 228, daughter of Edward 5. She was born in 1765 and married Jonathan Mulford, I therefore concluded that one was a nickname or it was misspelled previously, but since I found no other explanation I am using the Bennett Family spelling and assuming Bethia and Bertha are the same person.

Bertha married Jonathan Mulford, son of John Mulford and Mary Dayton, in East Hampton, Long Island, Suffolk, New York. (Jonathan Mulford was born on 13 Jul 1761 in East Hampton, Long Island, Suffolk, New York, christened on 13 Jul 1761 and died on 11 Apr 1842.)
