William Mulford
Noted events in his life were:
• Census, 1870, Havana, Mason, Illinois. 1 2 D. C. Brown, 48, farmer, real estate $17000, property $2000, born in New York. Ann Brown, 51, born in England. John Brown, 15, born in Illinois. Charles Brown, 14, born in Illinois. Josephine Brown, 12, born in Illinois. Emma J. Brown, 12, born in Illinois. William Brown, 9, born in Illinois. Lydia Brown, 65, born in New York.
"The only thing I have is that my gr gr Aunt Emily Brown married Daniel Perry Mulford and they had two children, and that in 1862 when property was sold, her two children were heirs of her and that she was deceased. It could be (I am assuming) that maybe she died during childbirth of her son William who was born in 1861. Her two children are listed in the household of her brother Dewitt Brown in the 1870 Census (Mason Co., IL), but they were not listed as Mulford, only their first names, and then I found out later, from what, I don't remember, that these were Emily's children."
