Jefferson Township High School Cook Co, Illinois October 23, 1885 Mr. Mark Reynolds and Family Dear Friends: Your recent bereavement has prompted thepupilsandteachers of the Jefferson High School to send to youtheaccompanyingtestimonial of the esteem in which the departed was heldbyus. We mourn the loss of the mother of our pupil and schoolmate,andwithhim we sorrow. Our sympathy is extended to the family, and in common with themandalarge circle of acquaintances throughout our township we feel thelossofa public spirited, earnest working Christian. Earth's songs with her have ended, but we rejoice in thebeliefthatthe "sweet singer of Israel" is now in the choir of theRedeemed.
