Obituary FRED HUNTING IS DEAD. Prominent Mayfair Real Estate Man C. Fred Hunting, a resident of Mayfair for 32 years,diedyesterdayafter a short illness. The funeral will take placetomorrow,burialbeing at Rosehill. Mr. Hunting was once the owner of theentiretract ofMontrose, now included in Mayfair, but he subdivided muchof it.In 1863he came to Chicago from Somerset, N.Y where he was born in1850?andentered the employ of Field, Leiter & Co., where he remaineduntil1874,when he resigned to give attention to his real-estateinterests.TheChicago & Northwestern reilway station, at Hunting AveMayfair wasbuiltby him and presented to the (suburb?)
